Career

1947-48 University of Wyoming (College)
1948-49 University of Wyoming (College)
1949-50 University of Wyoming (College)
1950-51 Sheboygan Redskins (NPBL)
1951-52 Minneapolis Lakers (NBA)

Pilch graduated from Thermopolis HS and entered the U.S. Army for World War 2. After the war, he went to the University of Wyoming, where he was the team's leading scorer. Drafted by the NBA's Baltimore Bullets in 1950, he chose the play the the Sheboygan Redskins instead. After the demise of the Redskins, he signed with the Minneapolis Lakers in the NBA.

Pilch later became a very successful entrepreneur in the insurance industry.
